Be a page on the Statehouse stage!

The most impactful lessons tend to be learned “hands on.” Indiana Electric Cooperatives recognized that when it started REMC Page Day at the Indiana Statehouse in 2013. This educational opportunity is for teenaged electric cooperative members, age 13-18. During Page Day, held each year in late January, participants assist Indiana’s legislative staff — and so much more. Pages get to witness the Legislature in action, learn how the legislative process works, and meet and have their pictures taken with their state legislator. What a great way to get a sneak peak at how state government works!
