European plug adapter recalled for shock hazard
NVIDIA has recalled European electrical power plug adapters because the plug heads can break, posing an electrical shock hazard. The adapters were included with NVIDIA SHIELD™ World Charger Kits. The plug adapters were sold online at NVIDIA.com, Amazon.com, BestBuy.com, and NewEgg.com from October 2015 through June 2017 for about $30. NVIDIA has received nine reports of the European plug heads breaking overseas, including six reports of consumers receiving electrical shocks.
The plug head has two thin round metal prongs within a black plastic hexagonal extender on a black plastic base plate. Six different plug heads come with the World Charger Kit; only the European plug head is being recalled. Consumers should contact NVIDIA for a free replacement.

iPhone cases recalled for skin irritation and burns
MixBin Electronics has recalled iPhone cases because liquid and glitter can leak out of the cases, causing skin irritation and chemical burns. This recall involves all liquid glitter mobile phone cases for iPhone 6, 6s and 7. The cases contain liquid and glitter that are floating in the plastic case. They were sold in various styles and colors from Amazon, Henri Bendel, MixBin, Nordstrom Rack, Tory Burch and Victoria’s Secret stores nationwide and online from October 2015 through June 2017 for between $15 and $65.

Nestlé AccuPure water dispenser poses hazard
Nestlé Waters North America has recalled AccuPure floor standing filtration dispensers, models HB215-3G (black) and HW215-3G (white), because they can overheat and smoke, posing fire and burn hazards. The units connect to the customer’s plumbing system, draw and filter water, and then dispense the filtered water through the unit.

Munching chipmunk poses laceration hazard
TOMY has recalled Lamaze Munching Max Chipmunk stuffed toys. Parts inside the toy can break creating a sharp point that can penetrate the surface of the toy, posing a laceration hazard. The recalled toy has item number L27578, “Tomy,” and “Lamaze” printed on a sewn-in fabric label near the toy’s tail. The multi-colored toy has a white clip on its head. When the clip is pulled, it vibrates and simulates eating the cloth nut attached to its arm. The toy was sold at Babies R Us, Toy R Us and other retail stores nationwide and online from May 2016 through July 2017 for about $16.
