The Loogootee West Main St. Church was awarded a $500 grant to purchase more shelving for their food pantry, which serves about 279 families from Martin County each month.

The Odon Winkelpleck Public Library received a $1,000 grant to cover the cost of the six-week summer reading program the library is hosting. The funds will be used to purchase books, prizes, crafts, and items for outdoor activities for all participants.
LAWRENCE COUNTY CANCER PATIENT SERVICES
Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services was awarded an $800 grant to purchase “companion chairs,” a type of wheelchair that is lighter and easier to use than standard wheelchairs.
