Leah Reyes, who just completed first grade at South Central Elementary, will have her artwork of a snowman featured for the month of January in the upcoming Cooperative Calendar of Student Art for 2019. Leah was named “Artist of the Month” for January when her art won the first grade division in the contest judged in March. She also won $200. The calendar, produced by Electric Consumer staff and distributed by participating REMCs around the state, will be mailed to all Kankakee Valley REMC members with the October issue of Electric Consumer.
