The second edition of the Cooperative Calendar of Student Art featured artwork created in the fall of the 1999-2000 school year.
The contest was judged in October of 1999. Calendars were quickly put together and distributed in December 1999 by participating electric cooperatives in Indiana.
The Best of Show was 12th Grade/December winner Emily Jackson of Mentone, Ind.
The contest brought in over 8,400 entries. The 2000 calendar was the first to include honorable mention winners, selected at-large from all the entries in all grades by the judges.
