Gluten-Free Cheesecake Brownies
Ingredients
- ¼ cup water
- ¾ cup chocolate chips
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup cocoa
- 2 eggs
- 2 T. butter
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 T. cornstarch
- 3 T. cream
- 1 t. vanilla
Directions
To make the brownie layer, boil water and add chocolate chips and ¼ cup sugar. Stir until melted. Add ¼ cup cocoa, 2 eggs and 2 T. butter. Spread into a greased 8×8-inch baking pan. To make the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese and ½ cup sugar until creamy. Beat in 2 eggs. Add last three ingredients and beat until smooth. Spread over top the brownie layer.
Bake at 350 F for 30–35 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
