At this year’s Noble REMC Annual Meeting and Picnic on June 2, members will have the opportunity to vote for individuals to represent them for the following districts:
District 3: Wayne Township in Noble County and that part of Milford Township in LaGrange County served by this cooperative. Currently being served by Andy Strack.
District 6: Jefferson and Albion Townships in Noble County. Currently being served by Steve Kirkpatrick. (Kirkpatrick intends to retire at the completion of this term.)
District 7: Allen Township in Noble County and Swan Township in Noble County. Currently being served by Robert Marshall. (Marshall intends to retire at the completion of this term.)
The board is composed of nine individuals who represent the membership in his/her respective districts. Directors set policy and guide the future direction of the cooperative.
Qualified members of Noble REMC, who live in those districts up for election, may seek election by filing a petition (provided) with the signatures of 15 Noble REMC members supporting the candidacy.
Petitions for election and other board information will be provided by the REMC. Completed petitions and biographical information must be returned to the REMC no later than April 2.
Qualified candidates will stand for election, with voting upon registration, at the annual meeting and picnic on Saturday, June 2, at the Noble REMC headquarters.
