If you’ve visited the Decatur County REMC office within the last year, you’ve probably been greeted by the smiling face of Jenny Burkhart.

Burkhart joined our co-op family as a member service representative a year ago this month. She graduated from South Decatur High School in 2001 and brings over 15 years of customer service experience to the cooperative.

Burkhart and her husband, Ryan, reside in Decatur County with their two children, Nolan and Maggie. In her spare time, Burkhart enjoys spending time with her family. She said they all love baseball and watching the Cincinnati Reds.

Burkhart said she was drawn to work for the cooperative because she believes in working for our members and adds that she is also a member of Decatur County REMC. Her favorite thing about working for the co-op is working with others that believe in achieving the same thing and helping our members on a daily basis.

Burkhart said “I am excited to see what the future holds for the cooperative and plan to spend many years helping to serve the members of Decatur County REMC.”
