Chocolate Chip Yogurt Cookies
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup packed brown sugar
½ cup butter, softened
½ cup plain yogurt
1 ½ t. vanilla
1 ¾ cups flour
½ t. baking soda
¼ t. salt
¾-1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 F. In a large bowl, cream together the sugars and butter until light and fluffy. Add yogurt and vanilla. Beat well. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well. Mix in chocolate chips. If you think the batter is a bit sticky, chill for about 30 minutes. Use a tablespoon to scoop out the dough and drop two inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until light golden brown. Remove the cookie sheets from the oven and place on cooling racks. Leave the cookies undisturbed for 5 minutes, then remove the cookies from the cookie sheet and let cool completely on a wire rack.
