Kelly and Edwina Payne, pictured above, recently completed the construction of their Power Moves home on Dallas Lake. The Paynes’ home achieved a score of 45 which makes it 55% more efficient and qualified them to receive additional money on top of their equipment rebates. The couple was able to achieve this number by utilizing heat pump technology for both water heating and the home’s heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, as well as better insulation and air sealing techniques.
