LaGrange County REMC has welcomed three new employees to the REMC team. All joined the co-op this past November.
Kelsey Younce joined the co-op as the human resources/executive assistant in November. She graduated from Western Governors University in July 2020 with a human resources management degree. She spent a year working for the Purdue Extension in Allen County as its 4-H youth development educator before joining the co-op.
Younce is a Prairie Heights graduate and lives southeast of LaGrange. She is an avid hiker, kayaker and enjoys being outdoors. She also raises and shows goats and is the board secretary of LaGrange County Farm Bureau.
Our new distribution engineer, Bradly King, also joined the REMC after serving as a summer intern at the co-op in 2017 and 2018 while he majored in electrical engineering at Trine University. King spent two and a half years as the field engineer at NIPSCO following his graduation.
In his spare time, King enjoys working on his house in LaGrange and will be very comfortable in a conversation about classic cars. If anyone has a ’76 Corvette laying around that they no longer want, feel free to reach out to him.
After being in purchasing at Jayco for 28 years, Doug Fry is the operations/materials coordinator for REMC. Living his entire life in LaGrange County and being a REMC member for more than 20 years, Fry is looking forward to transitioning from the corporate world to the co-op world.
Fry and his wife of 23 years, Beth, live in Brighton and have three sons and three grandsons. He enjoys being with his family at home and working on things in the barn, specifically vehicles and farm equipment. He would love to fix up and resell old tractors.
Please join us in welcoming them to LaGrange County REMC!
