We are so proud of our linemen who competed in the first-ever Indiana Electric Cooperative Lineman Rodeo, Aug. 25 – 26. Competitions like this are a great chance for linemen and co-op families to show appreciation for the hard work and diligent training that go into delivering safe electricity to our homes and businesses.
Events included hurt-man rescue, skill climbing, and several other individual and team lineman tasks. Training for these events serves to make them better at their daily jobs, while also creating some friendly competition across the state.
Clark County sent nine of our best and they showed the rest of the state why we believe we have the best around! Our teams brought home 13 awards, including best overall apprentice and both the first and second best overall teams.
A huge thank you to everyone who participated, and to our entire operations crew for investing in training all year long to make our co-op the best it can be.
