Free publications still available

While supplies last, members are invited to stop by the REMC office and pick up a free copy of the 2023 Farmers’ Almanac, Festival Guide and Student Art Calendar, illustrated by students across the state of Indiana. Feel free to use our drive-thru for an easy way to pick up these free publications.

Meter change-out 

REMC crews are currently working in the area served by the Spring Mill substation to update electric meters. At this time there are over 200 left to change. Please be aware that a short outage of about five minutes occurs at the service address as the meter is changed out.

Save energy in your home office 

Do you have a home office? Set equipment like printers and scanners to automatically switch to sleep or energy-saver mode when not in use. In addition to saving energy, the equipment will stay cooler, which will help extend its life. Another way to save in the home office is to use energy efficient lamps for task lighting. Small lamps use less energy than whole-room lighting.
