Noble REMC members’ contributions through our Operation Round Up grant program continue to make huge improvements and strides in our communities. Our latest disbursement awarded more than $23,000 and impacted 13 organizations and projects.

The program’s mission to give back to the community wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of our members. With more than 91% participating in the program, the pennies donated by rounding up your bill each month are making a big impact.

These contributions reach every part of our community, from historical societies to youth programs to quality-of-life projects.

The second quarter distribution of the Operation Round Up Trust Fund awarded $23,266 to the following organizations in our community:

Central Noble Primary School, $3,657, microphone headsets

St. Mary Catholic School, $1,984, recess and physical education equipment

Kate’s Kart, $2,500, books

Noble County Historical Society, $2,500, Historic Old Jail Museum rewiring

Stone’s Trace Historical Society, $1,500, materials for building upgrade

Special Olympics of Noble County, $1,000, Indiana Summer Games

City of Kendallville, $1,000, Kid City event

Drug Free Noble County, Inc., $1,000, prevention support programs

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Indiana, Inc., $1,000, site-based School Buddies programs

ADAC Inc., $2,500, veterans memorial

Youth for Christ of Northern Indiana, $1,000, East Noble Campus Life programs

Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center of Goshen College, $1,125, Conservation Leadership School program equipment

Crossroads United Way, $2,500, books

Organizations are encouraged to fill out and return an application to the Noble REMC office by July 1 to be considered for the next round of Operation Round Up disbursements. Applications can be downloaded from nobleremc.com.
