After the whiplash of Mother Nature in spring bringing us high temperatures and buckets of rain, you couldn’t have asked for a better night to host nearly 1,100 of our members during our annual Member Appreciation Event on May 30.

The sun was shining and a slight breeze was in the air for Noble REMC members and their families to enjoy the myriad of activities we had set up at the Noble County Community Fairgrounds.

In celebration of our members, we offered a free porkburger meal and soft serve ice cream, as well as family friendly activities, including horse and pony rides, a petting farm and bounce houses. It was a night full of entertainment and good company. Members interacted with community organizations who set up informational booths and were able to speak with our board of directors and this year’s candidates for the board.

Most of all, we enjoyed being among our members and celebrating all that you do for us as customers of the cooperative and residents of the community. It was a wonderful reminder of what makes us great: we were built by our community to serve our community!
