This year’s 4-H electric group had the opportunity to tour RBC Bearings, Inc. in Plymouth. RBC Bearings is an international manufacturer and marketer of highly engineered precision bearings and products integral in manufacturing and operating machines, aircraft and mechanical systems.

On the tour, the group had the opportunity to view the inner workings of equipment used to produce their wide range of products. The 4-H group even saw a robot in action that is used at the facility regularly. To finish off the tour, the kids got to get their hands on some of the smaller bearings, produced in the facility, before they were shipped off to their final destination.
