First and foremost, SEI Fiber is a diversified service that Southeastern Indiana REMC provides. Your cooperative built a fiber network utilizing the electric infrastructure to provide high-speed fiber internet across our seven-county service area. Our mission has not changed. It is still to safely provide reliable electricity and diversified services to our members and the communities we serve.
The role of SEI Communications
You might be wondering how SEI Communications fits into the picture. While Southeastern Indiana REMC built and owns the SEI Fiber network, SEI Communications assists us with the in-home installations. This collaboration helps us deliver the best possible experience to our members. Here’s how it works:
Southeastern Indiana REMC builds the fiber network and delivers the fiber drop to your home or business.
SEI Communications completes the in-home installation and sets up the equipment you need to get online.
Once installation is complete, your SEI Fiber internet service is managed by Southeastern Indiana REMC.
It’s important to note that Southeastern Indiana REMC and SEI Communications are cooperatives with a mission to serve the members. We are not competing against one another; we are working together to meet the needs of the unserved and underserved.
