This December, Southeastern Indiana REMC is excited to open its Operation Round Up grant application window to local nonprofits! Twice a year, we invite 501(C) nonprofits within our service area to apply for funds generated by our members who round up their monthly bills to the nearest dollar. The combined contributions create a powerful resource for the community, supporting non-profits that need things such as emergency supplies, education supplies, and more.
The Operation Round Up program embodies the spirit of “people helping people,” providing local nonprofits with grants that support projects that make our community stronger. Thanks to the generosity of our members, these small monthly contributions add up, creating a fund with the potential to drive positive change for many.
Now, as December unfolds, we encourage local nonprofits to take advantage of this opportunity to apply for a grant. By visiting seiremc.com/operationroundup, nonprofits can learn more about eligibility and complete the application process. Grants from Operation Round Up have supported a variety of initiatives, such as providing new equipment for local fire departments, funding youth educational programs, and essential supplies for charities. These grants make a real difference, and we are proud to support projects that uplift our neighbors and contribute to the growth of our community.
If you know a local organization that would benefit, share this news with them! The application process is simple, and the impact of these grants can be life changing. We want to ensure that every eligible nonprofit has the chance to apply and benefit from the generosity of our members. We look forward to supporting the incredible work of local nonprofits and making a positive impact.
