December may have been the season of giving, but for many Decatur County REMC members, giving is a year-round tradition. While the contributions may seem like small change, they make a big difference in our community.

As a member of Decatur County REMC, you help us make a positive impact throughout the community. Through our Operation Round Up program, your generous contributions support local organizations in need.

When you ‘round up’ your monthly bill, you make a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Not only are you helping to meet immediate, critical needs, but you’re also sending a powerful message to the community — that you care.

To date, thanks to your support, we have awarded 348 grants totaling over $623,000 to local organizations through this program. Your money stays right here in your community, making a difference where it matters most. It’s proof that small contributions, over time, can add up to create a big impact.

As a local cooperative, we’re deeply invested in this community. We proudly support local organizations like the Community Health Clinic of Decatur County, the Westport Community Volunteer Fire Department, and Sand Creek Elementary School. We hope you see Decatur County REMC as more than just your energy provider — as a partner and a driving force for good in our community.

If you would like to give back to your community through Operation Round Up, give us a call. Our team would be happy to help you get started.

I hope all our members have a wonderful new year. May it be prosperous and bright!
