Online voting closes
If you haven’t yet cast your vote in our annual director election, open your SmartHub app and click the Vote Now button, or check your email for a link to the voting website. If you would like a paper ballot, you must request one by April 9. It can be returned via mail or brought to the drive-thru event on April 24.
Scholarship application deadline
Current high school seniors or college students who will be enrolled full-time at a post-secondary educational institution during the 2025-2026 academic year are eligible to apply. We will award 10 – $1,000 scholarships during a random drawing from all eligible applications at the 2025 Boone REMC Annual Business Meeting. Applicants do not need to be present to win. Learn more and apply at bremc.com/youth. The application is quick and easy to complete, but you will need your household’s Boone REMC account number, which you can find in SmartHub or on your electric bill.
April 24
Drive-thru member event and business meeting
Our drive-thru event is a convenient way to return your pre-requested paper ballot. Come by the Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds for a fun drive-thru event with a few special giveaways (while supplies last) between 3 and 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, April 24. If you plan to come, please bring the registration card that was inserted in the middle of the March issue of Indiana Connection magazine.
Our annual business meeting begins at 6 p.m. in the Boone Cooperative Advantage Building at the fairgrounds. Members are invited to attend in person, tune in on our website at bremc.com/2025-annual-meeting, or listen on the radio at 102.7 FM. You will hear a financial report, learn more about how we’re focused on building our cooperative story — our 2025 theme — and find out the winners of our scholarship drawing.
