Marshall County REMC will host a food drive the month of October to support the Bread of Life Food Pantry in Plymouth.
Your REMC continually supports the community through donations, youth programs and other services, but the month of October brings Indiana’s Electric Cooperative Community Day! Indiana’s electric cooperatives come together to complete a project that meets a specific need in their community.
Marshall County REMC knows a significant number of families in our community are hungry, so that’s why your co-op is hosting a food drive the month of October.
The Bread of Life Food Pantry serves an average of 500 families in Marshall County every month.
Members who bring five non-perishable food items or hygiene products, such as toilet paper, soap, deodorant, toothpaste or feminine products, to the Marshall County REMC office by Nov. 1 will receive two LED lightbulbs free of charge! Don’t miss your chance to help out your community and get free stuff!
MARK BATMAN is CEO of Marshall County REMC.
