Looking for a clean, safe, and secure place to board your canine babies? Danny’s Doghouse would love to love your doggies. Danny’s Doghouse is located on State Road 70, next to Rainbow Lake in Perry County, a quarter mile west of Derby, Indiana.

Stacey Peter, owner of Danny’s Doghouse, open boards dogs of all sizes in a 1,200-square-foot open bay, climate-controlled garage, with 1,100 feet of fenced-in dog run attached to the building. They have two 6×10 kennels that they use for dogs with special feeding requirements, puppy timeouts, or if owners request their dog to be in a kennel. Peter and her partner, John Jarboe, have cared for many dogs over the past few years. Their chemistry worked well together so they decided to make a business out of it. Peter’s father, Danny Peter, built the garage quite a few years ago, and as a joke, one of his friends hung a plaque on the building, calling it Danny’s Doghouse. The plaque still hangs on the building, and the name fits Peter’s business plan while paying homage to her dad.

Danny’s Doghouse provides doggy daycare and short-term and long-term boarding under special circumstances. All you bring is your dog’s food, treats, and any medicines they may need. Danny’s provides beds, toys, and attention. Danny’s Doghouse requires each dog to have current Rabies, DHHD, and Bordetella vaccinations. Please check out Danny’s Doghouse on Facebook for videos and photos of their canine friends and Peter’s contact information.
