Adding a few cents to your energy bill can flip a switch to improve lives and communities.
In July 2024, Tipmont distributed over $20,000 in grants from its Operation Round Up and EnviroWatts programs. These grants funded musical performance initiatives, first-responder upgrades, food pantry shelving, and more in the communities we serve.
OPERATION ROUND UP
Round up your monthly Tipmont electric bill to the nearest dollar. Your tax-deductible average annual contribution of $6 benefits such area nonprofit efforts as:
- Musical instruments and accessories for The Arts Federation’s ArtReach program, an instrument lending library that provides qualified band and orchestra students with an instrument of need at no cost for seven years or until they graduate high school.
- Upgrades to an ambulance cot for the Clarks Hill-Lauramie Volunteer Fire Department for eventual use with an upgraded system to safely and securely load patients into the ambulance.
- Updated shelving at Crawfordsville’s Grace and Mercy Food Pantry, to allow for more efficient storage and distribution of the food received.
- Tools for the William Henry Harrison High School Boiler Robotics Team for robot construction and maintenance during upcoming years and seasons.
