I, and the rest of the Warren County REMC community, was shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of our long-time director and board president, Mike Conner. Mike’s pastor described him as a “pillar of the community.” Warren County REMC directors and employees share that same sentiment.

Mike was a steward to the cooperative, as well as a friend and mentor to the directors and employees. I admired his servant leadership and dedication to the members of the REMC in the short time I knew him. Your cooperative is a better organization, due in great part to the influence that Mike had on the local REMC board, as well as on the Wabash Valley Power Alliance board.

I am grateful to have known Mike. His presence in our boardroom will be sorely missed.
