Due to staggered reopening of the state of Indiana and the guidelines issued by Gov. Eric Holcomb, Steuben County REMC has decided to postpone our annual meeting that was scheduled to take place on June 13 at the Trine Athletic Recreation Center (ARC). 

This decision was difficult. However, we are focusing on the health and safety of our membership. 

The director petition deadline (April 29) remained the same for those that were interested. District 1 (Greenfield and Milgrove townships), 2 (Jamestown Township) and 9 (Otego, Richland and Franklin townships) are up for election.

We are considering a virtual meeting if a physical meeting is not possible. Regardless of the meeting format, we will ensure our membership will have the opportunity to cast their votes and have their voice be heard. We are entertaining options that may include absentee and/or online voting.

When the date and format are finalized, we will release that information to you.
