Student Calendar of Art Contest
Indiana Electric Cooperatives’ Student Calendar of Art Contest is open to all K-12 students who want to create an illustration for the annual cooperative wall calendar. A first-place artist will be selected for each grade, and the winners will receive a $200 prize. In addition, the artwork for each grade division winner will illustrate the cover and all 12 months of the calendar. Submissions for the 2026 Calendar must be entered by Feb. 28.

Camp Kilowatt
Camp Kilowatt is a fun and unique camp experience for sixth-grade students entering seventh grade across Indiana. In 2025, camp takes place June 4-7 at Camp Tecumseh in Brookston, Indiana. Kids get the chance to learn more about energy while making new friends and enjoying fun activities and games in this three-day dynamic camp. The deadline to apply is March 3.

Youth Tour
Each June, Indiana’s electric cooperatives sponsor a group of high school students entering their senior year to embark on a life-changing educational adventure to Washington, D.C. Highlights of this seven-day trip include visits to historic monuments and museums, meetings with Indiana’s congressional delegation on Capitol Hill, opportunities to make lifelong friends, and more. The deadline to apply is March 3.
