Heartland REMC will again this year offer scholarships to financially assist students of the REMC members. Due to ongoing safety guidelines, Heartland REMC will be doing a virtual scholarship drawing. 

Winning students will receive $500 to attend college, full-time, during the fall 2021 semester. To apply, the student must complete and return the application and meet all the qualifications listed below. Application forms can also be found on our website, www.HeartlandREMC.com, and in both district offices. The deadline to apply is June 1. 

All winners will be posted on our website and will receive an email with redemption instructions. 

Heartland REMC is proud to offer a scholarship program. There is no better way to support our 

community than to support and assist our young people in their pursuit of higher education. 

Qualifications for the applicant:

• The student must attend college full-time during the fall 2021 semester.
• The student may attend any two-year or four-year college or technical school.
• Parents or guardians of the qualifying student must have his/her primary residence on Heartland REMC lines which must be the student’s primary residence as well. 
• Winners of prior years’ scholarships are not eligible.
