Reflected on mid-October bills, Bartholomew County REMC members will see a increase in the wholesale tracker adjustment effective Oct. 1. This tracker, passed directly to members from our power supplier, Hoosier Energy, will be $.000095 per kwh or approximately $0.095 per 1,000 kwh used.  That makes the total per kwh $.109515. Fish Fry a success

On Aug.  9, the REMC held its fish fry and bake sale to benefit the United Way fund drive. Brownstown Electric donated 180 pounds of fish and fried it for us! BCREMC sold 500 fish sandwiches and raised $3,400 for our local United Way organizations. Our cooperative bank, CoBank, generously matched the funds raised. Thank you to all the… Continue reading.
