BCREMC’s Electric Vehicle Team set out to find solutions for employers wishing to offer workplace charging for electric vehicles. In November, Bartholomew County REMC unveiled an Electric Vehicle (EV) Workplace and Fleet Charging Lab with a ribbon cutting. 

The EV Team was tasked with installing at least three viable options for BCREMC members interested in installing workplace or fleet charging at their business. The goal of the lab is to guide employers through the process of planning, installing and managing charging infrastructure for electric vehicles at their place of business.

The lab allows a hands-on, interactive experience for members, pointing out the benefits and challenges they may experience when installing EV charging.
