Keep it consistent

You may find it hard to budget for your electric bill when your use can change dramatically based on the seasons and corresponding weather. 

If you’re looking for consistency, choose our budget billing program, which can help in planning your monthly finances.

With budget billing, each month’s bill is based on the average of the past 12 months according to the month you’re paying. For example, if you’re paying your December bill, it will adjust that month’s payment on the average of the immediate 12 months prior — December to December.

That means each month’s bill should only differ by a few dollars, since it’s continually adjusting to the average of the past year.

With the amount due each month varying slightly, we suggest signing up for our auto pay program in conjunction with budget billing to make sure your bill is paid on time, every time. 

Simply sign up online or by phone with a credit card, debit card or bank account information to have your payment automatically withdrawn and paid.

Go paperless!

It’s time to leave the paper behind and go virtual.

Paperless billing offers a faster and more secure way to view your bill than traditional mail. You’ll receive instant access to your monthly bill from any computer or mobile device. 

A message will be sent to the email address on file when your bill is ready to be paid, and then you can make your payment online through the LaGrange County REMC app or our online portal. All of it can be done in a few minutes with a few pushes of a button.

An added bonus? You’re doing your part to help the environment by eliminating the need to print and mail your bill, saving paper, ink, electricity and transportation.
