At Kankakee Valley REMC, we are trying something new!

We are owned by you. And as owners, you should have access to the information you may need and/or want about your cooperative.

We have begun publishing a summary of the minutes from our latest board meeting. The meeting minutes can be found on our website under the “news” tab.

Board meeting minutes are reviewed and approved at the board meeting following the one in which they were taken. This means minutes will be posted one month after the meeting takes place.

Just as with any successful business, the owners make tough decision for the success of the organization. Your involvement is requested each year at the annual meeting to elect your board director to represent your voice at the cooperative.

The decisions made monthly in the board room that impact you and all co-op members impact the board of directors equally — that’s because the directors are member owners, too, just like you.
