Board meets in September

  1. Counted seven board members present. Miami-Cass REMC attorney Jeremy Fetty attended via teleconference.
  2. Conducted 2018 board elections.
  3. WVPA board report was given by Jim Savage.
  4. Monthly legal report was given by Fetty.
  5. Rob Schwartz presented the monthly CEO report.
  6. Minutes from the previous board meeting were approved.
  7. August monthly operating, member services and safety reports were reviewed and approved.
  8. Financial report given by Schwartz.
  9. Reviewed and amended board policy 728 – Use and Maintenance of REMC- Owned Vehicle.
  10. Reviewed and amended board 729 – Reimbursement of Employee Expenses.
  11. Reviewed and amended board policy 731 – Operation of Commercial Motor Vehicles.
  12. Reviewed and amended board policy 733 – Employee Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  13. Set the next board meeting for Thursday, Oct. 26, at 7:30 p.m. in the Miami-Cass REMC boardroom.
