The Southern Indiana Power 2017 annual meeting is scheduled for April 18. Southern Indiana Power members residing in districts three and four who are interested in running for a position on the board should contact our office at 1776 10th St. in Tell City to receive a petition.

The nomination process requires the director candidate to live in the district and to submit a petition with the signatures of at least 30 members who reside in his or her district.

Interested persons should stop by the office or call the office at 812-547-2316 or 800-323-2316 to request a petition. Signed petitions must be returned to Southern Indiana Power by 4 p.m. on March 3 in order to be eligible for election at the 2017 annual meeting.

Districts with elections in 2017 

• District three: Carter and Harrison townships in Spencer County
• District four: Hammond and Huff townships in Spencer County
