Harrison REMC
Harrison REMC is a member-owned electric cooperative headquartered in Corydon, Indiana. As a cooperative, Harrison REMC follows seven core principles that are universal to cooperatives worldwide. Among those principles is one stressing education, training and information. Indiana Connection, a monthly magazine published especially for Indiana’s electric cooperative members, is one way the REMC informs and educates its members. Indiana Connection is available not only in a print format, but as an electronic publication for those who prefer getting their information on their electronic devices.

2019 residential incentive program
Incentives are available for residential single-family homes, including condominiums. Residential heating/cooling incentives are limited to two per primary residence. Multi-family incentives are administered through the commercial/industrial program since equipment is purchased and owned by the building owner. Improving cooperative service
Hoosier Energy and member-cooperative employees gain industry-specific training through the Department of Labor-certified Hoosier Energy Apprenticeship, Training and Safety program. The 8,000-hour program takes four years to complete and includes 13 hands-on technical schools for apprentices to attend.
