Grant helps protect local land

To assist the ACRES Land Trust’s mission to protect local land, Noble REMC recently awarded its first-ever EnviroWatts grant to the organization’s cause. The $2,500 grant will go toward offsetting the costs of protecting and caring for Noble County properties, which can total more than $38,000 annually. Kahle wins first-place scholarship from Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives Jacob Kahle, a Kalida High School senior, was awarded a first-place, $3,600 scholarship at the Ohio’s Electric Cooperatives Children of Members Scholarship competition held in April.
