It’s Jamboree time! On April 13, REMC members will gather at Henryville High School for our 2024 Jamboree, where we will celebrate Clark County REMC’s 85th anniversary, elect two directors, enjoy entertainment and fun, and give away fantastic prizes. I’m most looking forward to meeting with you, our member-owners. From 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., I will have a special “Meet the CEO” area near the voting gym, and I would be honored if you would take a minute to sit down and chat. I want to hear about what’s happening in the community, how REMC can better meet your needs, or just swap stories about what matters most to you and your family.
There are so many challenges facing our cooperative and the electric industry, and there are just as many opinions and experts with ideas about navigating those challenges. But after 20 years in this business, I’ve learned that the best solutions don’t always come from articles and insiders. Education and training are valuable, but nothing beats hearing from neighbors, school teachers, law enforcement officers, business owners, and the other great people who call this place home.
So mark your calendar to come to our Jamboree on April 13. See you there!
Register at the meeting and receive a four-piece commemorative beverage glass set.
