At the end of 2023, Carroll White REMC will begin the process of changing out the cooperative’s outdated meters. The process will begin in the southern part of our system with work continuing through 2025.

Some meters in the service territory date back to 2006. With the changing advancements in technology to improve our system, it is imperative to begin to update the meters. This is another measure to ensure reliability for our members.

The company doing the changeout work will have properly marked vehicles and documentation from Carroll White REMC, and during the scope of this project, Carroll White REMC will provide consistent and timely updates.
