The 2024 Daviess-Martin County REMC Annual Meeting has been set for Thursday, April 11, 2024. This meeting will be virtually hosted from the Daviess-Martin County REMC office. This means we will not be holding an in-person Annual Meeting this year. Instead, the meeting will be recorded and posted to the REMC website, dmremc.com, and the Daviess-Martin County REMC Facebook page. Members will still be asked to vote in the election and receive bill credits in return.

BUSINESS MEETING ACTION ITEMS WILL INCLUDE:

• The election of three directors for the cooperative to serve a three-year term. Districts up for election include District 2 (Van Buren and Barr townships in Daviess County), District 5 (Perry and Center townships in Martin County), and District 7 (Marion and Spice Valley townships in Lawrence County).

• Approval of reports for the previous fiscal year.

• Transacting such other business as may come before the meeting.

In accordance with DMREMC bylaws, nominations for members to become a director on the REMC board shall be made by petition. Valid nominating petitions must be submitted to the REMC no later than Monday, Feb. 12, 2024. Interested parties should contact the REMC office during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., for petition details and to request an informational packet.
