Abby Asher has been employed at Decatur County REMC for eight years and currently works as the billing specialist. 

A native of Decatur County, Asher grew up around Millhousen and graduated from South Decatur High School. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from Purdue University. 

Asher really enjoys the people she works with and appreciates the family atmosphere. She believes the philosophy of the cooperative is very unique and adds to the enjoyment and satisfaction she finds in her job. 

Asher and her husband, Nic, have three children: Lilly, Lane and Sage. When she isn’t rooting for her favorite little football player or cheerleader, Asher enjoys camping, traveling, taking rides in the country and watching the kids show cattle.
