Thurman retires
Lineworkers are often called upon to work in the most difficult of circumstances, and yet they often are loyal to the job, working for decades in the worst weather, and the longest hours.
After 25 years of serving Orange County REMC members, Journeyman Lineman Ed Thurman has retired. He started his career with the co-op as a meter technician. He later transitioned into a journeyman linemen. Throughout his time at Orange County REMC, Ed has made service to the members a priority. His co-workers wish him the best in his retirement.
Lindsey accepts new role
Orange County REMC’s Lorena Lindsey recently changed jobs within the co-op. Formerly a member service representative, she will now be working in the accountant I position, reporting to Misty Tincher.
We appreciate Lorena’s willingness to step into a new role, and her commitment to provide excellent service to our members.
