Summer is officially upon us. With the temperatures getting warmer each day, many families use the longer days to spend time together by playing outdoors, visiting parks and traveling. At Clark County REMC, we care about the communities we serve and want to share a few opportunities to enjoy some much-needed family time this year.

First, we will be giving away four free tickets to each of the Louisville Bats Sunday home games this summer. It’s hard to beat an afternoon of entertaining baseball, great park food, and trying to catch a fly ball. To enter for your chance to win four tickets, check out our ad on page 7.

REMC has also partnered with Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari to bring REMC members tickets for nearly 40% off the regular price. Tickets are available for $36.99 plus tax, a huge savings over the regular ticket price of $59.99. Tickets are available first-come, first-served, to all REMC members by calling our office or coming to the drive-through. The tickets can be used at the park any day during the 2021 season.

Now I know that the most important mission for Clark County REMC is to deliver, safe, affordable electricity to every one of the homes and businesses in our community. That’s why we get up in the morning, and after a job well done is how we rest at night. But from time to time it’s nice to be able to offer value-added services and benefits to our co-op families.
