The thermometer may be registering colder as the end of the year nears, but all of us here at Kankakee Valley REMC are feeling plenty of warmth!

We’ve wrapped up a year that was challenging in many ways, one that put our board and staff to the test. But we think that’s a good thing, because when you’re asked to stretch beyond your normal comfort zone, you grow! Many of the steps we took during 2018 forced us to take a closer look at the way we do business and how we currently serve our members-consumers and what we’ll need to do to prepare for serving your needs in the coming years.

We anticipate that 2019 will be a year of planning for the REMC, and we’re going into it with a great deal of optimism. The pace in the energy world continues to evolve more rapidly than ever, but what’s important hasn’t changed one bit. As a not-for-profit cooperative, we continue to be focused on your needs, ensuring you have a reliable and affordable source for energy.

Kankakee Valley REMC has a skilled, enthusiastic team that’s constantly looking for ways to improve the service we provide to you and your neighbors. After all, we live here too, so we want to enhance the quality of life in every way we can.
