Putting the ‘amp’ into ‘camp’

Since 2003, the Indiana Touchstone Energy Camp has provided lessons about electrical safety and electric cooperatives — along with the usual camp fare — for Hoosier students entering the seventh grade. The camp is held each June at Camp Tecumseh YMCA Outdoor Center near Brookston, Ind. Thanks to participating electric cooperatives from around Indiana, middle school students can enjoy a three-day, three-night experience like no other.
