District 1 represents Vienna, Lexington, and Johnson townships in Scott County; Saluda Township in Jefferson County; and Washington, Bethlehem and Owen townships in Clark County. District 2 represents Oregon and Charlestown townships in Clark County.

Any eligible person who wishes to run for the board of directors (including an incumbent director) must be nominated by way of a written petition signed by a minimum of 15 members. The petition may only be signed by members of Clark County REMC.
