LaGrange County REMC employees got a head start on Indiana’s Electric Cooperative Community Day, which will be held on Oct. 11. It provides an opportunity for Indiana’s electric cooperatives to work collectively toward making a positive impact on our great state.

LaGrange County REMC employees were able to help pack meals for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) at the Michiana Event Center in Shipshewana on Aug. 21.

Thirty-one REMC employees packed meals of MannaPack Rice. As FMSC’s first and original food formula, MannaPack Rice is an excellent source of protein, carbohydrates and key nutrients culturally acceptable worldwide for anyone over the age of one.

LaGrange County REMC employees joined over 2,500 other community members who packed over 800,000 meals during the multi-day event. This year’s meals will be sent to malnourished children in Guatemala.
