This year’s LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity auction will take place Friday, Aug. 3, at the Shipshewana Auction Barn.
Participants can bid in the annual auction or dine in the haystack dinner tent. It’s all for a great cause: to continue the tradition of working alongside families who are building their own futures. Currently, that includes 30 home buyers and 17 home renovators.
The auction begins at 3:30 p.m., selling everything from Amish and handcrafted furniture to a variety of tools and a new buggy. The haystack dinner starts at 4 p.m., with the quilt auction beginning soon after at 5 p.m.
Every dollar donated moves LaGrange County Habitat for Humanity closer to answering another family’s prayers.
Additional information about the auction or about LaGrange County Habitat’s home-building programs is available at the LCHFH website, lagrangehabitat.org, or by calling the office at 260-463-8519.
