We are always looking at ways to improve service for members. Currently, members receive a text from the co-op when their power goes out. Our newest program will reduce the need for members to call in their outage and allow them to text us if their power goes out.

How does it work?

• If there is a known power outage at your service address, Harrison REMC will text you to alert you.

• If you experience an outage and have not been notified by text, simply text “OUT” to 1-855-514-7474

When we receive your outage text, you will get a message to confirm the outage address. Once the address is confirmed, we will reply that the outage has been reported. Please be sure to save the Harrison REMC outage number, 1-855-514-7474, as a contact in your phone.
