Recently, KREMC lineworkers completed their annual pole top rescue training. As part of the training, each lineman must climb a pole and rescue a mannequin that is hanging from the utility pole. The lineman must then secure the mannequin using ropes and clips to safely bring him back to the ground. It is imperative that our line crew possess the knowledge and confidence necessary if ever faced with a rescue situation. Safety is a top priority for KREMC and the community we serve.
