As part of the Junior Board of Directors program, students are required to complete a community service project to successfully finish the program. This year, they have chosen to support the Women’s Care Center in Plymouth and LaPorte by creating layette care packages for newborns in need. 

The students are seeking donations from the community to make this project a success. 

A donation box has been placed in the lobby of Kankakee Valley REMC for your convenience. Donations will be accepted until April 30. 

We greatly appreciate your support in helping these student leaders create a positive impact for families in need. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these newborns and their families! 

THE ITEMS THEY ARE COLLECTING INCLUDE:

• Newborn diapers 

• Wipe packs 

• 0-3 month onesies 

• 0-3 month sleepers 

• 0-3 month outfits 

• Baby lotion 

• Baby wash 

• Baby rattles or similar toys 

• Teethers
