Kosciusko REMC recently welcomed Stephanie Campbell to the co-op world. Stephanie started as a temp several months ago and is now a member service representative, working daily to serve our members’ needs. We sat down with Stephanie to learn more about her.
What brought you to work for KREMC? I left a job I was at for 15 years and was looking for a new opportunity in customer service.
Tell us a bit about your prior work experience. I managed a tanning salon before starting at KREMC. I was also the art teacher at Pierceton Elementary for several years, which was the most rewarding job I’ve ever had.
What are you most excited about in your role at KREMC? I am excited to still be working with the public. I think it is important to have a job that gives you purpose, and this job allows me to help people in a different way than my previous jobs did. I also feel valued here and appreciate being part of a supportive team!
What has been your favorite moment(s) in your time at KREMC as a temp? I have enjoyed the community involvement, annual meeting, working the Kosciusko County Fair, and working the electric vehicle event.
Tell us about your life outside of work. I love spending most of my time with my 10-year-old son, Griffin. I also love being involved in my community. It is my favorite time of year as the leader of the Pierceton Christmas Lights Committee. We spend a lot of time making our small town beautiful for Christmas and planning Christmas events. One of my biggest hobbies is baking. I actually have a small cupcake business on the side, which keeps me very busy!
Next time you’re in the office, join us in “officially” welcoming Stephanie to KREMC!
